Chelsea have a had a tough few weeks with FIFA imposing a transfer ban on the club before star man Eden Hazard departed for Real Madrid, ending a seven-year spell with the Blues.

Hazard’s joined Los Blancos in a deal that could potentially be worth £150million, although Chelsea are currently unable to spend any of that cash on a replacement.

The west London club are unable to register any new players for the next two transfer window following an investigation into irregularities surrounding recruitment of foreign minors.

Departures

Gary Cahill is the biggest name to have already been released by the Blues, having fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri and not offered a new contract.

The centre-back is already attracting attention from Fulham and Aston Villa while third-choice goalkeeper Rob Green has also been let go alongside a host of youth players including Marcin Bulka, who has signed a deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

4. Davide Zappacosta (to Roma) – 2.5

The Italian arrived from Torino for £25m in 2017 but has failed to secure a first-team place ahead of Cesar Azpilicueta and could now be moving on.

Calciomercato claim Roma are in the hunt for the 26-year-old, although injury to Reece James could well have scuppered any potential deal.

3. Elseid Hysaj (Napoli) – 2.6

Hysaj has confirmed he will leave Napoli this summer in pursuit of trophies, with Chelsea and Manchester United joined by Juventus and Atletico Madrid in establishing interest.

Chelsea have greater priorities than signing a new right-back while Hysaj’s link with former manager Sarri means a move to Juventus is most likely.

2. Leon Bailey (Bayer Leverkusen) – 3.0

The Blues have registered their interest in signing the 21-year-old as a replacement for Hazard, with .

The Jamaican is a long-term attacking option in comparison to Pedro and Willian, who are both over 30, but everything hinges on the outcome of the transfer ban appeal.

1. Nicolo Barella (Cagliari) – 3.1

Chelsea were heavily linked with the Italian midfielder in January and has only enhanced his reputation by helping Cagliari survive for another season in Serie A.

However, Inter Milan look set to beat the Blues to his signature with Barella expected to join up with Antoni Conte’s squad in the coming days.
