Barcelona and Real Madrid stars think same thing about Neymar as PSG pick replacement | Football | Sport

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both trying to lure Neymar away from PSG, with the Samba star’s time at the Parc des Princes appearing to be coming to an end.

The Brazil international has had enough of life in Paris and the feeling appears to be mutual, with fans venting their fury at him in the 3-0 win over Nimes this weekend.

Barcelona officials have travelled to France today in order to step up their attempts to land Neymar, while Real Madrid are still hoping to secure the forward’s signature.

And the Independent say players of both Barca and Real feel Neymar will leave PSG on loan.

Barcelona do not have the financial might to re-sign their former No 11.

They have tried including Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele as part of the deal but to no avail.

As a result, Barcelona are now trying to sign the Brazil international on loan.

They would then pay PSG a mammoth fee for the 27-year-old in 12 months time.

But whether they can convince the Ligue 1 giants into selling to them remains to be seen.

The report also adds that PSG have been looking at Juventus’ Paulo Dybala as a possible replacement, with the Argentina international destined for a substitute role this season.

Relations between both Barcelona and PSG have been strained for years.

And there is a feeling at the Parc des Princes that the bigwigs behind the scenes would prefer Neymar to move to Real Madrid instead.

Meanwhile, former Real star Gheorghe Hagi wants Neymar to make the move to the Bernabeu.

And he feels the Brazil international linking up with Eden Hazard could lead them to Champions League glory.

“They can win easier,” he told Super Deportivo Radio.

“Without a doubt. If they sign Neymar and with the Hazard signing, they can win the Champions League again.

“[Zinedine] Zidane will then have to find a place for each one, but it’s the best thing that can happen to a coach. You just have to motivate them.”

Haig also feels Neymar can rekindle his best form in Spain, adding: “There are times that he is good and sometimes he is not.

“The value of the player is the same. He is a player who would do well for all the teams in the world.”
